Happy Thanksgiving! This year I am so very thankful for my August 2022 visit with my daughter. She has been happily married for a year and a half to a wonderful husband and living in a nice home in a beautiful country. I have so many happy memories of the time we spent together, the delicious meals that we ate together, lovely music that we heard, good books that we read, leisurely walks around the pristine, charming, picturesque town where they live and in the botanical garden with glorious flowers, the great places we traveled to by bus, train, and plane, and the scenic boat rides that we took to see the majestic fjords and waterfalls. It was an amazing 8000-mile round trip of a lifetime for me, and I am so grateful to my daughter and her husband for inviting me! They were the Host and Hostess with the Mostest!
